The ReForest Co-Creation and Engagement Platform has been launched

The ReForest platform – a dynamic online space dedicated to fostering collaboration, enabling knowledge transfer, and promoting innovation – has been launched by Euro-Mediterranean Economists Association (EMEA).  It is designed to be a main tool for co-creation activities within the REFOREST project serving as a hub for integrating research with practical agricultural applications and will offer support in policy formulation. All registered users will have access to a variety of resources, including knowledge, tools, data, and results generated throughout the life of the project.

The platform will ensure the collaboration of a variety of stakeholders, including REFOREST project partners, farmers, landowners, policymakers, the scientific community, agroforestry value-chain stakeholders, the wider public, advisors, private sector businesses, NGOs, and other interested parties.

The platform’s implementation will occur in three stages:

Community-Building Actions – Initiating in March 2023

Engagement and Development – The formation of working groups, engagement of living labs, and case studies by December 2023

Resource Visualization – By December 2024, the platform will showcase collected resources through visual means such as maps and figures.

EMEA will maintain and update the platform throughout the project’s duration. After the end of the project, the platform will be managed by the European Agroforestry Federation (EURAF), which will ensure the dissemination of valuable information and insights gathered beyond the project’s end date.
