The ReForest project proudly led the Training Hub at this year’s Agroforestry Show 2025, held at Woodoaks Farm in the UK. The event brought together practitioners, researchers, advisors, and policymakers for two vibrant days of learning and exchange.
From interactive tool demonstrations to expert talks and design workshops, the ReForest-led Hub attracted continuous interest across both days. It was a space not only to explore project results and tools but also to engage in practical discussions about the future of agroforestry in Europe.
The Training Hub programme offered a rich blend of presentations, one-on-one sessions, and practical demos including introductory sessions on silvoarable and silvopasture systems, tool demonstrations, a tree species selection session, financial tools presented by DigitAF, an agroforestry design workshop to close the day with hands-on co-design activities, and much more.
The permanently staffed ReForest stand served as a hub for informal discussion, resource sharing, and collaborative problem-solving throughout the event.
This event marked another valuable opportunity to collaborate with our Horizon Europe sister project, DigitAF, with whom we share a mission to make agroforestry accessible, measurable, and scalable across Europe. The close coordination between the ReForest and DigitAF teams effective sessions and demonstrations and, more importantly, aligned messaging, highlighting the complementary strengths of both projects in supporting innovation, co-design, and knowledge exchange.
The interest and engagement seen at Woodoaks Farm reaffirm that agroforestry is gaining traction as a practical and science-backed farming solution.
ReForest will continue to support this momentum through open-access tools, policy engagement, and our Europe-wide Living Lab network.
