This Work Package aims to actively involve stakeholders in the work on the project and ensure their engagement in its further development.

WP Leader: PROGRESSIVE FARMING TRUST LTD LBG

WP2 aims to translate the science-practice partnership developed in WP1 into a toolbox empowering farmers and other stakeholders to design AF systems and take consequent, well-informed management decisions in their local context.

WP Leader: KOBENHAVNS UNIVERSITET

The objective of WP3 is to characterise and quantify the performance of existing AF systems in terms of their productivity, profitability and ecosystem service provision to support scalable monitoring and verification systems (WP4), inform the development of financial and policy instruments (WP5), and Agroforestry system design optimisation and innovation (WP6).

WP Leader: CESKA ZEMEDELSKA UNIVERZITA V PRAZE

This WP will use the latest developments in remote sensing and deep learning algorithms to create a semi-autonomous service able to describe carbon and biodiversity value of AF systems and its change over time.

WP Leader: EURO MEDITERRANEAN ECONOMIST ASSOCIATION

This work package will use the co-creation capacity (WP1) to develop a financial model specific to Agroforestry and to design effective policy support.

WP Leader: RHEINISCHE FRIEDRICH-WILHELMS UNIVERSITÄT BON

The objective of this WP is two-fold. First, it will develop mechanisms for dynamic AF system design optimisation at farm level based on the integrated models and outputs from WPs 1 – 5. Second, this WP will develop and road test innovative business models for a value chain and support consultancy specific to AF.
