ReForest at Treescapes 2026: Dynamic Agroforestry Decision-Making Tool

As part of the Treescapes 2026 Congress, the ReForest project is proud to be represented by Dr. Prajna Kasargodu Anebagilu, , who will present a talk titled “Decision Analysis for Agroforestry: Insights from the ReForest Project.”

The presentation will showcase the Dynamic Agroforestry Management Tool developed under ReForest. This cutting-edge decision-support tool is designed to help farmers, advisors, and policymakers evaluate the viability of agroforestry practices. By projecting Net Present Value (NPV) over time, the tool accounts for both uncertainty and the complexity of agroforestry systems. It enables evidence-based decision-making before resources are committed, reducing risk for adopters and guiding the design of more effective agroforestry support schemes.
