10th Forum Agroforstsysteme: Planting diversity – Scaling agroforestry
September 17 - September 18

ReForest is pleased to support the 10th Forum Agroforstsysteme, Germany’s leading agroforestry conference, organised by our partner Deutscher Fachverband für Agroforstwirtschaft (DeFAF e.V.) and hosted at Justus-Liebig-Universität Gießen. The forum brings together practitioners, researchers, policymakers, and land managers to explore scalable agroforestry solutions under the theme: “Vielfalt pflanzen – Agroforst skalieren” (Planting diversity – Scaling agroforestry).
This year’s forum will include keynote presentations, scientific posters, workshops, excursions, and networking sessions focused on expanding agroforestry systems in temperate Europe.
Reasons to join:
- Connect with leading agroforestry researchers and practitioners in the German-speaking region
- Learn about pathways for scaling agroforestry systems in science, policy, and practice
- Explore insights from DeFAF-supported projects, including ReForest and other EU initiatives
- Join workshops, poster sessions, and excursions to experience agroforestry implementation firsthand
