Agroforestry is a powerful tool for sustainable land management, offering multiple environmental and economic benefits. However, despite its potential, many farmers and landowners face financial barriers that limit the adoption and expansion of agroforestry systems. To bridge this gap, the ReForest project is conducting a survey to gather insights directly from agroforestry practitioners.
One of the key objectives of this study is to identify the financial challenges that hinder agroforestry implementation. By collecting both quantitative and qualitative data, the survey will help develop a financing scheme tailored to support agroforestry initiatives.
The results will contribute to:
- Collecting country-specific information reflecting financial hurdles faced in different regions.
- Using the information gathered to develop a financing model designed to improve access to funding and investment opportunities for agroforestry projects.
- Creating a stronger dialogue between policymakers, financial institutions, and other stakeholders to ensure financing mechanisms align with the needs of agroforestry practitioners.
How Your Input Will Make a Difference
By participating in this survey, you will help shape a financial framework that fully recognizes and supports agroforestry’s role in sustainable agriculture y climate resilience.
Your input will directly influence the development of funding solutions that work for agroforestry farmers, ensuring they can access the resources needed to thrive.
The survey offers two options based on your availability: a short version (10 minutes) and a full version (30 minutes). The short survey helps us gather insights on the barriers farmers face in financing their agroforestry projects, while the full version also allows you to provide feedback on our proposed financial scheme.
Short version: EN, CZ, DE, HU, BG, UK
Full Survey: EN, CZ, DE, HU, BG, UK
The survey is open till 15 February 2025.
