Kigali Hosts the 6th World Congress on Agroforestry this October under the Theme
“Agroforestry for People, Planet and Profit”

En 6^th World Congress on Agroforestry is taking place in Kigali, Rwanda from October 20 to 24, 2025. This global event will bring together researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and stakeholders from around the world to explore how agroforestry contributes to people, the planet, and economic prosperity.

Organised under the theme “Agroforestry for People, Planet & Profit,” the Congress will feature plenary sessions, scientific presentations, interactive parallel sessions, exhibitions, and field visits, creating a vibrant space for dialogue and knowledge exchange across sectors.

The Congress strongly resonates with ReForest mission of promoting agroforestry as a sustainable land management solution that delivers climate resilience, biodiversity enhancement, and economic viability.
