Les arbres sont des noyers (Juglans regia) avec une distance entre les rang\u00e9es de 8 m et une distance entre les rang\u00e9es de 24 m, ce qui donne une densit\u00e9 de 36 arbres par hectare. Les noyers ont \u00e9t\u00e9 choisis en raison de leur potentiel \u00e9conomique \u00e9lev\u00e9 et de leur aptitude aux syst\u00e8mes agroforestiers, ainsi que de l'int\u00e9r\u00eat croissant des agriculteurs pour ces arbres. Les bandes situ\u00e9es sous les noyers seront ensemenc\u00e9es d'un m\u00e9lange de gramin\u00e9es et d'herbes pour attirer les insectes utiles. Les arbres seront associ\u00e9s \u00e0 des cultures telles que pommes de terre, c\u00e9leri-rave\/carottes, ma\u00efs, poireaux\/choux, bl\u00e9 d'hiver et haricots de grande culture dans le cadre d'une rotation de six ans. Une haie sera plant\u00e9e perpendiculairement \u00e0 la direction dominante du vent pour servir de brise-vent et d'habitat aux insectes et aux oiseaux.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L'objectif principal de l'\u00e9tude de suivi \u00e0 long terme est d'\u00e9valuer l'impact des arbres et des pratiques agroforesti\u00e8res sur la production et la gestion des cultures. Le rendement des cultures et des arbres, la qualit\u00e9 des r\u00e9coltes et les co\u00fbts de gestion seront suivis de pr\u00e8s et utilis\u00e9s pour calculer la rentabilit\u00e9 \u00e9conomique du syst\u00e8me agroforestier. En outre, l'\u00e9tude se concentrera sur la fourniture de services \u00e9cosyst\u00e9miques, tels que la qualit\u00e9 du sol, le stockage du carbone, la gestion de l'eau et la biodiversit\u00e9. Les param\u00e8tres chimiques et physiques du sol, ainsi que la macro- et la microbiodiversit\u00e9 du sol, seront contr\u00f4l\u00e9s annuellement lorsque cela est pertinent et possible. L'humidit\u00e9 du sol sera contr\u00f4l\u00e9e \u00e0 l'aide de tensiom\u00e8tres et des stations m\u00e9t\u00e9orologiques mesureront la temp\u00e9rature de l'air et du sol, les conditions de luminosit\u00e9, la vitesse du vent et les pr\u00e9cipitations en fonction de la distance par rapport aux rang\u00e9es d'arbres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La parcelle de recherche et de d\u00e9monstration en agroforesterie \u00e0 Inagro constituera une ressource pr\u00e9cieuse pour \u00e9valuer l'impact de l'agroforesterie sur le sol, l'eau, le microclimat, la biodiversit\u00e9 et la rentabilit\u00e9
