En la primavera de 2024, los investigadores de la red europea REFOREST de\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/agroreforest.eu\/es\/living-labs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">laboratorios vivos<\/a>\u00a0se han ensuciado las manos evaluando la salud del suelo mediante una serie de medidas pr\u00e1cticas. Dado que la salud del suelo es, en \u00faltima instancia, un reflejo de su capacidad para desempe\u00f1ar funciones clave, el proyecto pretende evaluar una serie de propiedades que dar\u00e1n una indicaci\u00f3n directa de las funciones. En <a href=\"https:\/\/agroreforest.eu\/es\/living-lab-uk-gibside-community-farm\/\">Granja comunitaria de Gibside<\/a> en el norte de Inglaterra, el jardinero Mick Marston se asoci\u00f3 con investigadores&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.organicresearchcentre.com\/about-us\/our-team\/colin-tosh\/\">Colin Tosh<\/a>&nbsp;y&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.organicresearchcentre.com\/about-us\/our-team\/dr-julia-cooper\/\">Julia Cooper<\/a>&nbsp;para evaluar el impacto de su sistema agroforestal de cultivo en callejones en la salud del suelo dentro de la hilera de \u00e1rboles y a distancias cada vez mayores de los mismos.
