La plataforma FarmTree es una soluci\u00f3n digital f\u00e1cil de usar dise\u00f1ada para apoyar la toma de decisiones en agrosilvicultura<\/strong> planificaci\u00f3n y ejecuci\u00f3n. La plataforma permite a los usuarios de la tierra y a los profesionales de la agroforester\u00eda reproducir escenarios existentes o hipot\u00e9ticos<\/strong> en un entorno en l\u00ednea, lo que permite dise\u00f1o flexible<\/strong> de sistemas agroforestales \u00fanicos en cuanto a composici\u00f3n de especies, disposici\u00f3n espacial y opciones de gesti\u00f3n. El Centro de Conocimientos forma parte de la plataforma ReForest Engagement, dise\u00f1ada para ayudar a los agricultores a planificar sistemas agroforestales y a hacer decisiones de gesti\u00f3n bien fundadas<\/strong> adaptado a los contextos locales. Est\u00e1 especialmente dirigido a los agricultores que a\u00fan no se han convertido a la AF, con el objetivo principal de reunir la investigaci\u00f3n pasada y actual para abordar las lagunas de conocimiento<\/strong> en torno al dise\u00f1o y el rendimiento de la AF, la prestaci\u00f3n de servicios ecosist\u00e9micos y los impactos potenciales sobre la biodiversidad y el carbono del suelo.<\/p>\n

El Hub re\u00fane una base de datos de recursos -incluidos conjuntos de datos, herramientas de apoyo a la toma de decisiones, informes, v\u00eddeos, podcasts y sitios web- recopilados a trav\u00e9s de los conocimientos y la experiencia del consorcio ReForest y sus redes europeas e internacionales m\u00e1s amplias. Actualmente, ya ofrece 80 recursos diversos de 15 pa\u00edses<\/strong> en toda Europa, estableciendo una s\u00f3lida base de referencia que seguir\u00e1 creciendo a lo largo del proyecto en respuesta a las necesidades de agricultores e investigadores. The\u00a0Public Goods Tool (PG Tool)\u00a0was originally developed by the Organic Research Centre (ORC) in 2011<\/a> to assess the public goods provided by farms undertaking organic conversion. Since then, PG Tool has been adapted for many other purposes. Under the ReForest project, the tool has been further developed and adapted to incorporate the benefits of trees into farm assessments.<\/p>

The ReForest PG Tool assesses the following public goods at the farm level including landscape and heritage features, soil management, energy and carbon, agricultural systems diversity, nutrient balance (NPK), social capital, farm business resilience, animal health and welfare management, and governance.<\/p>

For each of the above public goods, the tool provides a score on a scale of 1 (poor) to 5 (excellent). This is useful both for researchers to assess the sustainability of different agroforestry systems, and for farmers to identify areas of strengths and potential improvements at their farm.<\/p>

The PG Tool is based in Microsoft Excel. To complete the tool, typically a researcher will visit the farmer for up to half a day to guide them through the tool and explain the results.<\/p>

Based on the excel version, the Public Goods tool has been further developed under the\u00a0Proyecto ReForest<\/strong> into a\u00a0fully online tool<\/strong>\u00a0to reflect the\u00a0specific sustainability benefits that trees and agroforestry practices bring to farming systems<\/strong>.<\/p>

The fully updated ReForest PG Tool integrates the experience gathered by ORC through the years to evaluates a wide range of public goods at the farm level including soil management, NPK balance, energy and carbon<\/strong>, diversidad<\/strong>, social capital, farm business resilience, animal health and welfare<\/strong>y el contribution of landscape and heritage features<\/strong>. These categories are visualised clearly and scored to provide a holistic picture of farm-level sustainability.<\/p>

Designed to be intuitive and accessible, the new tool features a user-friendly online interface<\/strong>. This version of the tool removes the need for in-person facilitation and allows anyone, whether farmers, landowners, advisors, or researchers<\/strong>, to use the tool independently and gain insights into the sustainability of their land management practices.<\/p>

El Mapa Agroforestal de Europa es un plataforma interactiva<\/strong> que re\u00fane ejemplos de pr\u00e1cticas agroforestales en todo el continente. Desarrollado originalmente en el marco del proyecto AGFORWARD, el mapa se ha ampliado y actualizado ahora en el marco del proyecto ReForest en colaboraci\u00f3n con DIGITAF. En lugar de utilizar las bases de datos nacionales y regionales existentes, proporciona un acceso r\u00e1pido y sencillo a una herramienta \u00fanica en l\u00ednea<\/strong> con una estructura normalizada que garantice la comparabilidad en toda Europa.<\/p>\n

El mapa permite registrar sus actividades a distintos tipos de interesados, como agricultores, instituciones educativas y de asesoramiento y partes interesadas en la planificaci\u00f3n de sistemas agroforestales. Las entradas se muestran con categor\u00edas y s\u00edmbolos distintos, y los usuarios pueden subir fotograf\u00edas para ilustrar sus sistemas. La plataforma mejorada ofrece una mayor interactividad, con funciones como actualizaciones gestionadas por el usuario, verificaci\u00f3n del administrador y salvaguardias para la protecci\u00f3n de datos.<\/p>\n

El estimador de carbono y biodiversidad es un plataforma de predicci\u00f3n en l\u00ednea<\/strong> desarrollado en ReForest para evaluar carbono del suelo <\/strong>y niveles de biodiversidad<\/strong> en los paisajes europeos. Integra im\u00e1genes de alta resoluci\u00f3n obtenidas por sat\u00e9lite y veh\u00edculos a\u00e9reos no tripulados con extensos conjuntos de datos reales sobre el terreno, utilizando redes neuronales convolucionales avanzadas para captar patrones de vegetaci\u00f3n, suelo y uso de la tierra. Esta combinaci\u00f3n permite a la herramienta generar predicciones precisas y espec\u00edficas de cada lugar que reflejan tanto las tendencias de uso del suelo a gran escala como las variaciones medioambientales a peque\u00f1a escala.<\/p>
