Hungarian Permaculture Conference"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On 23\u201324 January, the MAPER Conference and Professional Day took place in Budapest, bringing together more than 300 participants for an intensive professional exchange on agroecological solutions and regenerative land-use systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Established in 2016, the Hungarian Permaculture Association (MAPER) has become a key actor in promoting permaculture-based approaches in Hungary through research, education, and practical implementation. Its annual conference serves as a prominent meeting point for a broad range of stakeholders, including researchers, practitioners, advisors, educators, and policy-related professionals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Agroforestry featured as one of the highlighted thematic areas of the conference. Within a dedicated session, special attention was given to digital tools supporting agroforestry planning and decision-making, developed within the <a href=\"https:\/\/agroreforest.eu\/da\/\">Reforest<\/a> og <a href=\"https:\/\/digitaf.eu\/\">DigitAF<\/a> projects. These tools were presented as innovative responses to current environmental and land-use challenges, illustrating how digitalisation can support the wider adoption of agroforestry systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A central element of the session was the presentation of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.farmtree.earth\/home\">FarmTree tool<\/a>, followed by an interactive Q&amp;A segment, allowing participants to engage directly with the topic, ask practical questions, and discuss potential applications of the model in diverse agroforestry contexts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To further support knowledge exchange, dissemination materials, including brochures describing the digital tools and their functionalities, were made available throughout the session, helping participants to deepen their understanding beyond the presentations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The session and the broader conference programme provided a valuable platform for dialogue, reinforcing the role of agroforestry and
