SUMMARY:ReForest Project is Part of Webinar Series on Digitalisation of Sustainable Farming Practices
DESCRIPTION:The Digital Agroecology Cluster\, established under the PATH2DEA project\, is launching a webinar series to explore the pivotal role of digitalisation in promoting sustainable agricultural practices\, focusing on agroecology and agroforestry. \nThis series will highlight insights and outcomes from three projects within the Cluster: PATH2DEA\, D4AgEcol\, and ReForest. \nThe first webinar\, scheduled for March 18\, 2025\, from 13:30 to 15:30 CET\, will delve into the digital tools currently available. The session will begin with introductory remarks\, followed by an overview of the EU policy landscape. \nProf. Ing. Martin Lukáč\, PhD\, the ReForest Project Coordinator\, will present innovative tools to finance agroforestry in Europe.  \nEvangelos Anastasiou from the Agricultural University of Athens will introduce the D4AgEcol Platform and Tom Van Nieuwenhove (Inagro) and Iride Volpi (AEDIT) will discuss technological tools compatible with agroecological practices\, providing practical examples from Belgium and Italy. \nThrough these webinars\, the Digital Agroecology Cluster aims to facilitate knowledge exchange\, showcase practical applications of digital tools\, and address the challenges associated with their integration into sustainable farming systems. \nMore information and registration form are available on the Agroecology cluster page.  \nWe are looking forward to meeting you soon!
