The Digital Agroecology Cluster<\/a>, established under the PATH2DEA project<\/a>, is launching a webinar series<\/strong> to explore the pivotal role of digitalisation<\/strong> in promoting sustainable agricultural practices, focusing on agroecology and agroforestry.<\/p>\n

This series will highlight insights and outcomes from three projects within the Cluster: PATH2DEA<\/a>, D4AgEcol<\/a>, and ReForest<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The first webinar, scheduled for March 18, 2025, from 13:30 to 15:30 CET, will delve into the digital tools currently available. The session will begin with introductory remarks, followed by an overview of the EU policy landscape.<\/p>\n

Prof. Ing. <\/strong>Martin Luk\u00e1\u010d<\/strong><\/a>, PhD, the ReForest Project Coordinator<\/strong>, will present innovative tools to finance agroforestry in Europe. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Evangelos Anastasiou<\/strong> from the Agricultural University of Athens will introduce the D4AgEcol Platform<\/strong> and Tom Van Nieuwenhove<\/strong> (Inagro) and Iride Volpi<\/strong> (AEDIT) will discuss technological tools compatible with agroecological practices<\/strong>, providing practical examples from Belgium and Italy.<\/p>\n

Through these webinars, the Digital Agroecology Cluster aims to facilitate knowledge exchange, showcase practical applications of digital tools, and address the challenges associated with their integration into sustainable farming systems.<\/p>\n
